Before going to Prague you have to know a few things about the city and all the things you are going to do there. First of all you need to find a decent accommodation. You will spend less money plus this type of public transport is not that bad. I mean the infrastructure in the Czech Republic is highly developed and you can reach almost everywhere you want by train. It can show you different connections via public transport.
Now let’s say a few words on whether you need to rent only a car or you need a driver as well. My personal opinion is that you don’t need a driver simply because the roads are extremely fine as the driving standards as well. It doesn’t matter where you are and where you need to go. All you need to do is just to look at the directions on the road signs. Of course I’m not trying to convince you that having a personal driver is a bad thing – on the contrary – it is really comfortable and a highly good extra. So if you thing you can afford it – go for it. It is really nice to sit relaxed on the back seat of the car while someone else is driving instead of you. There is one little negative detail I should share with you – It is really hard to hire a driver in the Czech Republic. I mean for car. Of course it is completely normal if we are talking about a bus driver but in this case we are not. It is not impossible but you will have to make a good research. This is why I would recommend you to start your research now if you are sure that you will want to rent a driver. By the way if you want to rent only a car I would recommend you to use the Budget rental. They are really good and the prices are considered to be quite normal compared to other car rental companies. The decision is up to you, but I would advice you to take a look at the public transport options at first and then decide which one to pick up.
